In 2001, a couple of retired ladies at our church were in need of assistance.
I and another lady offered to assist these ladies. Little did we know where this would lead us.
We had to get Power of Attorney forms filled out so that we could assist them with
their finances and their medical needs. They were in need of some physical assistance,
so Reachers were needed to assist in getting stuff out of the cupboard.
What
I called "fat" flatware was needed because arthritis in their hands made it difficult to handle regular silverware.
All of this, plus some, lead me to set up this website hoping to help others with similar issues.
In the future, I will be posting articles that will deal with more senior care.
