Permanent Cold Sore Cure

Suppression therapy might be the best candidate for a permanent cold sore cure but since it still isn't approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) people can't rely on its use just yet. For now, people can only resort to natural ways when looking for a permanent cold sore cure.
There are several ways for people to prevent cold sore.
Strengthen your immune system. Cold sore is a symptom of illnesses. Reducing
your chances of getting sick is definitely a great way of preventing cold sore from occurring in the first place. Take supplements like zinc, yogurt, and vitamins C and E. They are effective in preventing recurrences of cold sore.
Protect yourself from sunlight, as exposure to it is considered a possible trigger of cold sore. You can reduce the likelihood of initial and subsequent attacks by protecting yourself when you're outdoors. Use hats or any other accessory to cover your face. Apply sun block and makeup with SPF.
Apply lip balm regularly if you have already suffered from cold sore. This will prevent your lips from chapping and scabs from worsening.
If you are always in contact with an individual who is infected with herpes, you don't need to avoid the person completely, but you do need to be extra careful with what you touch. And above all else, refrain from touching any part of your face! Wash your hands right after each encounter. Last but not the least, kissing is definitely not permitted!
Prevention is indeed the best permanent cold sore cure, but you need to be fully alert at all times if you wish to eliminate all chances of having cold sore in the future.
