Disneyland And Disney Vacation - Is It Just A Waste Of Money?

I hadn't talked about Disneyland and Disney vacations for many years. It was strange how a place like Disney World - a place that had once been so magical to me - could be completely unimportant to me now. I wouldn't have even considered Disney travel if my daughter hadn't mention it. Now, she is going through that age where she is crazy about Disney. Not only does she love their new animated cartoons, but she also appreciates the old classics. She likes Donald, Goofy, Pluto, and the others.
A trip to Disney Worls seems like the ideal vacation time for our family to take together. On the other hand, seeing Disney vacation from the point of view of the parents makes it much different.
First of all, Disney vacations cost a lot of money. I had never realized how expensive they were before, but they are out of proportion. Disney vacation plans, in reality, are too expensive a lot of families. Luckily, we have saved up so that we are able to afford to take that trip, but nonetheless it kind of seems like a waste of money. After all, everything about Disney vacations is so artificial. All over the place, there are people who want to divert you. It just makes me uneasy. I have a lot of trouble feeling diverted when someone is trying too hard. I would prefer to observe the natural world and walk around than to take Disney vacations and be catered to.
Still there is something to be said for Walt Disney vacations. There is definitely no better way to spoil your kids than taking
them on a Disney vacation journey. Everything on the site is a well planned for kids that they would have to be really bored not to enjoy.
Even though I have tried to educate my child without the type of shallow values that Disneyland and Disney World give the impression to represent, I can't ignore the magic. With Walt Disney World vacations, you get to look at fireworks shows every evening, get photographed with the characters that you liked as a kid, go swimming, go on rides, and have lots of junk food.
I remember how much I loved Disney vacations as a kid, and I can't deny my kid that same opportunity. I just cannot wait until our next trip when we get to go in a place a little bit less touristy. I have been thinking about the Alaska coast. But we have not decided yet. In the mean time my kid will enjoy her Disney Vacations.
