Timeshare in Florida could be considered the timeshare capital of the world with more timeshares in Florida than any other concentrate in the world. With Florida ranking in the top five tourist destinations year in and year out it is no surprise that with in excess of 84 million tourists visiting the Florida area in 2006 alone, it's no wonder that Florida timeshares are so popular and timeshares have a strong foothold in the Florida region.
Because the number of resorts number in the hundreds, it's not hard to imagine that finding the right one can be an interesting challenge to say the least and care should be taken in selecting the right one. As you may expect, the salespeople in each of these resorts will always advocate their own property before others and will always try to convince you that their resort is the right choice, however, take your time as make the right choice at the beginning will ensure fantastic experiences and ones that begged to be repeated.
The diversity comes from in array of resorts that range from passable 3 star resorts to the glamorous and exotic 5 star deluxe. Many brand name timeshare companies have substantial presence in Florida, including Marriott, Hilton, Sheraton, Wyndham and Fairfield to name a few and for every one of the recognizable names there are a hundred that you may never have heard of.
Due to the flexibility of timeshare and the possibilities of exchanging your home resort to others worldwide, it is vitally important that you select

Consider the season, apartment size, resort quality and the annual maintenance fees before signing on the dotted line. Season can be important as Florida tends to be in the path of passing hurricanes. This simple fact alone means that you need to be very careful with the maintenance fees and you need to make sure they are spent and protected very well as unprotected or 'stingy' fees can often leave the resort open to quite hefty one off payments for owners in the event of storm damage.
Although considered far more enjoyable than a simple hotel room vacation, timeshares in Florida need to carefully looked at before a resort is chosen.
