the flop and when to play on. You should only remain in the game after the flop if you have a worthwhile pair in your poker hand. You should also stay in if one of the cards in your hand is the same as a high-valued community card. For example, if you have a Jack and a nine in your hand and there is a Jack, three and five on the board, you should remain in the game for the next round. If you don't have a pair, fold and play poker in the next hand.
In latter stages of the game such as the Turn and the River, you should raise on bets when you have a top pair. This is your chance to manipulate the size of the pot and to encourage other players to retire from the game. You should only remain in the poker online game after the Turn or Fourth Street if you're well on your way to making a strong poker hand such as a flush or straight. Remember that every round you remain in, the more money you will lose if your poker hand is inadequate.
