Oro Selket is truly a modern day Dr. Spock. His no-nonsense approach to modern life's incongruencies and his deep respect and admiration for children makes this book a breath of fresh air among the over-psychoanalized child development books riddled with untested theories that abound in bookstores today.
This guru puts it simply: love your children, teach them well, interact with them at their level and encourage them to learn at their own pace.

Introduction

Having a super kid is the dream of every parent, including me, the father of two kids.
My motivation for writing this book is to help parents raise super kids, using a simple common sense approach.
How do we do it, and where do we start from, and a lot more questions, however only few answers are available.
My objective in the book is to make everyone, parents and parents to be and singles, and singles to be married, have the knowledge to create a super kid.
I will present very logical ideas and simple methods, which will only cost you the price of this book, which is a very good return on investment.
The topics will be in an order according to their relevancy, although it could be started at any age of the child or the parents, however read from day 1, and use the several days’ suggestions to reach the present age in days.
My definition of a super kid is a moral kid, a consciousness kid, a kid that can create more super kids, as that is an important part of raising a kid, and is a part of our responsibility as parents, if a super kid cannot create a super kid, when they become a super parent, then there is a flaw in the way it was done. Also raising a super kid who would be a super husband and or super wife and super mother or father, this is the goal, and then the supers just keep occurring naturally.
As mentioned it is a very simple process, however requires desire and persistence, and most of all love.
Creating a super kid starts by choosing your other half, a man chooses a wife, a woman chooses a husband, then get married, then have a kid, then raise him to be a super kid, see, I told you very simple steps.
A major contributor to the success, is common sense, and love, specially love which goes without being mentioned a lot, or talked about.
Follow the guidelines and you will reap fantastic rewards.

What is a Super Kid?
A super kid, has so many traits, among which are; loving to his parents and grandparents, loving to his family including uncles and aunts and cousins, respectable to all, loving to everyone, responsible, self confident, reliable, kind to others, respectable to everyone, follows what is right, corrects what is wrong, all that is good and honorable is part of a super person.
The traits are acquired at different times through the kids’ daily life, and most important is that every kid is different, however the objective is the same, there is only one goal, to be a super kid, as parents you plant the right seeds and nourish them all the way, with love and common sense.
Doing our job as parents in a good way, the kid will not need to read the book to know, how they were raised, they are already a living example, and kids recall how they were raised and in majority of cases follow the same way with their kids.
Raising a kid doesn’t change from generation to generation, the principles are the same, the motivation is the same, and there is always love, many times a major culprit is excessive love which leads to a spoiled child.
A super kid is usually identifiable and is the envy of other parents, meaning they wish they had a similar kid.
